Was Dusty Mills at Big Boy a mag?
We visited the breakfast buffet, which is priced at $12.99 per person, and children under 12 eat for free. The waffles were excellent, and the biscuits and gravy were quite good as well. However, the bacon and sausage were just average. It’s worth mentioning that we arrived at 1:30 PM, and the buffet closes at 2 PM, so some items weren't as fresh as others. Overall, the restaurant was clean but quite small, and there... View all feedback.
What Bertrand Orn dislikes about Big Boy:
Waited too long to be waited on then waited 20 minutes for two burgers. Fries were cold. Place was not busy. Waiter never checked back to see everything was alright. Management needs to step in and train people better. One friendly waitress in the whole place View all feedback.

Overall, the restaurant was clean but quite small, and there’s no play area for kids, which is a big downside for me. Because of that, I have to deduct a star from my rating. It’s disappointing because I would love to eat here every week if there were a play area, but now it’s more of an occasional visit. On a positive note, I do appreciate the free buffet for children under 12—there’s nothing better than free!
Slow service and not personable. Got my order wrong and never bothered to come back to see how things were.
This restaurant is an excellent choice, especially considering its convenient location. Many people visiting Petoskey for medical appointments often stop here for breakfast or lunch. I've been here several times and have consistently received quick and friendly service. The salad I had for lunch was delicious, with plenty of options available. They offer a variety of toppings for the salads and at least four different dressings to choose from. On another occasion, I tried the tomato basil soup, which was also very tasty.
