Nestled in a quaint village, this charming pub has recently reopened under new ownership, successfully drawing locals back in. Guests appreciate the friendly staff and commendable food, particularly recommending the hearty Sunday roast, which showcases generous portions. However, some have experienced service delays and inconsistencies with meal temperatures. Accessibility concerns, like the absence of a disabled toilet, were noted and hope for improvements during upcoming renovations. The atmosphere is inviting, with a delightful beer garden ideal for pets. Though the dessert menu could expand, overall, the pub offers a pleasant dining experience worth revisiting, particularly on sunny days.
The pub, located in a village, recently reopened under new ownership after being closed for 9 months. The new owners have successfully attracted locals back to the establishment. During my visit with family, we reserved a table for five. As a wheelchair user, I encountered difficulty at the front entrance due to a step. However, the staff quickly addressed the issue and provided an alternative accessible entry. The service and food were satisfactory, but I was disappointed to learn that there was no disabled toilet. This goes against regulations and was a source of frustration for me. I hope that during the pub's upcoming renovations, this issue will be rectified.
I had an excellent meal with friends, good choice also a few vegan choices that were excellent. a little disappointed with the pudding menu as a bit limited they would run out of at least one! would go again.

Large service menu was limited, which bore the quality of the cook and kitchen staff; the service was fantastic, and the love for detail was not too short. recommend the Sunday dinner and look forward to rehearsing the new menu.
We made a reservation to celebrate a birthday with friends at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated at our table. Our servers, Ellie and Sophie, ensured we had drinks while we decided on our meal choices. The food was delicious and served quickly. Everyone had a wonderful time and we would highly recommend this restaurant.
