Salsas is a surprising gem for decent Mexican fare, with a standout chicken fajita bowl featuring tasty lime and coriander rice. While the nachos may fall short, the chain restaurant offers good options for a quick bite, such as the pulled pork burrito and the satisfying baja steak burrito bowl. The $2 tacos are a steal, with crispy shells and generous fillings, making for a simple yet well-executed dish. The restaurant's consistent quality and friendly service make it a reliable choice for good fast food in a lively setting. Whether grabbing a quick lunch or enjoying a meal with friends, Salsas provides a satisfying dining experience at a great value.
Feedback
Was Johnny Monahan at Salsa's a mag?
Went with a couple of friends to try the $2 tacos on Tuesday. Didn't have very high hopes but was pleasantly surprised. The beans were well spiced and the veggies inside were nice and crisp. It was simple but very well done View all feedback.
What Eugene Dickens dislikes about Salsa's:
It isn't completely the stores fault that I didn't like the fully loaded chips - it's that they removed a dish similar to this one which offered a lot more meat, sour cream & guacamole. However the meat tasted weird. Really weird. The chips on the other hand was over seasoned thus was a lil' salty. I do really love the chips Salsas offered generally.
On a side note, I loved the salsa fresca! View all feedback.
Franchise purporting to be Mexican food but I've never been to Mexico so hard for me to attest to authencity! Regardless I like this offer.
Was pleasantly surprised by how decent Salsas is and now I'm getting their chicken fajita bowl on a regular basis. The lime and coriander rice is so tasty! Chicken is nice and smokey and love the spicy mayo on top. Comes with a side of quality corn chips too andddddd they do hot chips as well because you can never have too many carbs. Strayed from the chicken fajita bowl one time and got the nachos but they were a sloppy mess.
Love their $2 tacos! So cheap, and they taste great too! Crispy taco shells are the way to go, and they really stuff it with fillings. Too bad they don't do all the flavours they used to for tacos - like the battered fish bahja. You have to be a member to get the x2 deal though, and it was for Tuesdays.
I was pleasantly surprised by how good Salsas is, and now I will be ordering their chicken fajita dish regularly. The lime and coriander rice is delicious! The chicken is beautifully smoky, and I love the spicy mayo on top. It comes with a side of high-quality corn chips, and I was happy to see that they also offer hot chips because you can never have too many carbs. However, once I pulled the chicken out of the fajita shell, the nachos that came after were a bit messy and chaotic.
I adore their $2 tacos! They are so affordable and delicious. The crispy taco dishes are the best, filled generously with tasty fillings. It's a shame that they don't offer all the flavors they used to, like the battered fish baja. However, you must be a member to get the buy one, get one free deal, and it's only available on certain days.
