Description

Hidden in a cozy neighborhood, Niche is a dark, trendy cocktail bar and intimate restaurant ideal for after-work drinks, weeknight catch-ups and date nights. Creative cocktails and sharable plates—croquettes, lemon-pepper calamari, duck tacos, pork belly, gnocchi and steaks—earn praise for flavor and value. Service is warm and welcoming though a small staff can cause occasional slowdowns. Expect moody decor, a lively weekend bar scene with dancing and hip-hop, and a convivial, intimate atmosphere.

I really enjoy this club bar, especially for its upbeat hip-hop and mainstream music on the weekends.

Great place, good vibes and cold drinks. RnB Friday’s! Also cater for networking events and do so well. Plenty of parking if you’re being Designated Dave.

I had a wonderful time at the restaurant! The atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly, and the crowd was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking to dance and have a good time with a laid-back group of people. This was my first visit, but I plan to return soon!

Although they were slightly understaffed they had one gent doing the bar, till and food service etc. then just the chef in the kitchen they worked extremely well. At times there was a slight wait, but I've waited muuuuch longer in restaurants that are fully staffed so absolutely hats off to the guy on the floor. He's worth his weight in gold!I wasn't amazed by the food but it was well priced and tasty. I think the best part of this restaurant is that it's dark and intimate. You have share food to eat with perhaps a first date or a loved one. You could also take a group as it's not a noisy restaurant plus you'd feel like you're the only ones there as there are only around 10 tables. I should note that this venue is attached to the niche bar, so I don't know what a Friday or Saturday night dinner here would be like, as you would have a whole different atmosphere given the bar would be open and patrons would be inside I'm sure it would be fun, but less intimate than it is Monday to Thursday. My advice? Give it a go and see what you think!

Took advantage of a Dimmi 50% off special to try out this restaurant attached to Nook Bar. As you can see from our selection, much of the menu is fried, however I really enjoyed they're use of spice. Service was a bit slow but thats to be expected given they seemed to be operating on a skeleton crew of 3 including the kitchen staff. My favorite would have to be the duck tacos. As for the atmosphere, this venue was dark and moody with trendy furnishings. A good pre-drinks meal with friends on the slightly pricier end.
