Last sunday of every month 3 till 6 live folk music hosted by the Leveneers. The mix this week included Chris Sesar and Gill Halliday and Erin Scott, the bar was packed the beer served swiftly and the burgers met with everyone's approval....Thanks
My wife and I recently moved to Kinross and have been trying out different restaurants in town. Last Sunday (19 March 2017), we had dinner at the Crannog Restaurant located in the Salutation Hotel. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with charming pictures of old Kinross hanging on the walls, making it a lovely place to enjoy a meal. Since it was still the off-season, the restaurant was quiet and they had a limited Sunday menu available. I had the roast beef while my wife had the pork belly, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the overall dining experience. The service was excellent and friendly. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend that readers give this restaurant a try.
Nice old fashioned feel in Reid's restaurant. I had soup and macaroni from the good value lunch menu. 2 x courses are £8.95 and large tasty portions. Good service and good food. Well recommended for a quiet lunch in the centre of Perth.
The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. We were warmly welcomed and highly recommend this place. We will definitely return, as it is also an ideal place to stay overnight.
While visiting Kinross, we decided to stop in for a coffee at Salutation, but were informed by the female bartender that it was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Despite this, we noticed a few customers enjoying drinks at the bar at the same time. We decided to go somewhere else, but on our way back, we saw more customers inside. Although we don't know the reason for the inconsistency in operating hours, we decided not to risk encountering similar situations at any other Salutation locations during our trip across the country, as we didn't want it to tarnish our love for Scotland.
