You pay 40€ for a calçotada and this is a rip off. Calçots are fine but the rest is vulgar. Bad wine in an area with exquisite wines (this is a sin! and regular meat. They just take advantage of the calçots season ripping off tourists. Don’t go! View all feedback.
Nice afternoon, end of the week.. Some of my local collueages told me to eat here.. Local food and a great atmosphere... and they were right.. it was a nice lunch.. fresh.. great service and good food.. especially the local food outside!! Check the pics! maybe a bit expensive.. but on the other hand.. 40 euro for the menu.. 4 dishes including the wine and coffee.. it was a great afternoon..

We were taken here by family members who live near Salou, it was such a great experience! I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone... their food is local, traditional and delicious, even the wine is from a vineyard 30 minutes away. The owner grew up in what was this beautiful 18th century farm house which they have transformed into a wonderful restaurant complete with a fairy light-strewn courtyard for drinks or to sit in the sunshine. They are known by locals for their Calçots, definitely ask to try the calçots! Unfortunately, they aren’t always in season (they are grown by local farmers and delivered by the crate load! but you should check anyway just in case. Calçots are an onion somewhere between a leek and a spring onion but with the sweetness of a shallot... they are cooked over wood fire in one the the courtyards (which you can watch until they are black on the outside, you slide the black leaves off, dip them in sauce and then dangle them into you mouth. You eat them as an appetiser with wine, you stand at long tables with everyone else and dive in! Be prepared to get messy... You will end up with black fingers and sauce on your face. But it is so much fun and you will laugh more during this first course than you have at any table all year! And fear not, there are sinks for when you’re done to wash your charcoaly fingers in before the rest of your meal. The rest of the meal was great too, my husband and I tried snails for the first time! For main I had beautiful baked cod, my husband had the Spanish equivalent of a mixed grill and was very happy. This place is a little off the beaten track (the best places usually are! but it is totally worth the taxi ride, it may also be worth checking out bus routes. Enjoy!

Yesterday 5 of us went to eat for the first time, and it won't be the last. The food is very good, highlighting the cannelloni and snails a la llauna. The place is very nice and the attention of our waiter Pau is incredible. Perfect quality/price. We will return.... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
