Brooklyn Style Pizza has earned a loyal following for its crisp, light crusts, fresh ingredients and warm, personable service. A cozy, small interior and an inviting outdoor patio (dog-friendly) set a relaxed, music-filled atmosphere perfect for game days or casual nights. Menu highlights include gluten-free pies, wings, garlic knots and classic sides. Most patrons rave and drive in for it; a few seeking a denser, New York–style pie find the Neapolitan thinness and light cheese underwhelming.
The pizza here is amazing—it's our favorite New York-style pizza in South Carolina. The crust is light and has a wonderful crispness to it, and they use top-notch ingredients. It's so delicious that we’re willing to drive over 20 miles just to enjoy it!
We’re originally from northeast Pennsylvania, near New York City, and we really struggle to find good pizza in Brevard, North Carolina. That’s why we often make the drive to Pendleton for this pizza. We enjoy sitting outside with our dog and digging in. The crust is amazing, and we also love the cheese fries and mozzarella sticks. Plus, the town itself is charming. We’re so glad we discovered this spot!
Brooklyn style pizza is by far one of the best pizza places I?ve ever been to. My husband and I started coming here our senior year of college and we make it a point to eat here when we come back to visit family or go to a Clemson game. The staff are someof the friendliest people I?ve ever met and they clearly take pride in what they do. The ingredients are always fresh and highquality which is reflected in their amazing pizzas. Try this place once and you?ll be hooked!
After being hyped by some friends my wife and I wanted to give the place a try. Being from NY myself I feel I?m looking locally for a ?good? ny style pizza, this was not it. The inside is small, despite this the place had a good ambiance. We ordered alarge (16in) cheese Neapolitan style. When the pizza arrived at the table it looked beautiful? that was the end of theexcitement. The pizza over all was too thin and crispy, my wife and I like thin pizza but this was the extreme. We felt it waslike eating plain tomato sauce on a cracker. The cheese wasn?t flavorful nor was there enough of it. The dough lacked flavor aswell. I?m always the one to eat the crust but with this one neither of us did. We more than likely won?t try again. The bestpizza that is close to NY style with out going to the tax heavy state would be NY pizza and pasta in Anderson. Hands down thebest we have had in South Carolina.
My wife and I were eager to try this restaurant after hearing great reviews from friends. As a New Yorker, I'm always on the lookout for authentic New York-style pizza, and unfortunately, this place didn't meet that expectation. The interior is small, but it has a nice ambiance. We ordered a large (16-inch) cheese Neapolitan pizza. When it arrived, it looked amazing, but that was where the excitement ended. The pizza was excessively thin and crispy; while we enjoy thin crust, this was taken to an extreme. It felt more like eating plain tomato sauce on a cracker. The cheese lacked flavor and there simply wasn't enough of it. There was also no taste to the dough. Typically, I'm the one who finishes the crust, but neither of us wanted to eat it this time around. We likely won't be returning. For a taste of authentic New York-style pizza without the hefty taxes of New York, we recommend NY Pizza and Pasta in Anderson. It’s definitely the best we’ve found in South Carolina.
