During a recent visit to family in Yankton, we stumbled upon this BBQ spot online and felt compelled to try it, especially since finding good barbecue in the Midwest can be challenging. Located just south of Yankton, across the bridge into Nebraska, it certainly lived up to our expectations. The interior resembles a cozy lodge or cabin and appears to be new or recently renovated. They offer a full bar and an extensive menu packed with various meat and side options. We've visited twice and loved the brisket platter and pulled pork sandwich, accompanied by delicious mac and cheese and baked beans. We can't forget the amazing fried pickle coins—definitely a must-try! The service was quick and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The food was great, with tender and flavorful meats. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely return. We highly recommend this restaurant!
I absolutely love this barbecue master! The food is outstanding, and the barbecue is perfectly seasoned, as is the rub.
This was our first time dining here, and my husband and I were really impressed. The food was outstanding, and the prices were quite reasonable. There was so much that we ended up bringing leftovers home. We can't wait to return soon!
