I've visited this place several times, and I've had a great experience every time. Their regular teas are quite good. I really appreciate that they offer hazelnut milk tea, as not many places in Pearland have it (it's my personal favorite), and I recently tried their stormy tea, which was delicious. This is our second visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, we've been disappointed with the drinks both times. Today was the worst; the Hokkaido milk tea was watery, and I found it strange that there was caramel syrup in it. The brown sugar milk tea was slightly better, but still nothing remarkable. R&B's Jasmine Green Milk Tea is only okay. I used to get it from Ding Tea all the time, but the flavor has changed and isn't as strong now.
This spot isn't so bad. It's got a nice atmosphere and the drinks are pretty good. I'll go back when I'm in the area.
90% of the reviews listed here as of Feb 2022) are for Ding Tea, which was this location up until a couple of months ago. #1) R&B, a chain that is primarily in California finally made its Houston area debut just at the tail end of last year and I can't say it was better than its predecessor. Average drink selection overall and certainly works well in a pinch. The classic milk tea is the best drink I've had here. There is a subtle sweetness and it's smooth to the last sip. I don't want to consider it a benchmark drink, but I do feel in some way that all boba spots should have at the very minimum a decent milk tea. I would also say their Vietnamese coffee bonus points for cheese or ube foam) also gets a thumbs up. I would really expect nothing less for this area. However, there were some #2) misses and miscues. The thai black, winter melon green, and jasmine milk teas were surprisingly bland. I wouldn't recommend the strawberry or rose oolong as those were no bueno all around. Upon letting the staff know, they weren't sure to make new drinks or issue a refund but they seemed somewhat apathetic to the feedback. I am not one to complain per se, but I feel it's important to inform, especially when ordering so many drinks. At the end of the day, a revisit would really be a toss-up decision. I wouldn't go out of my way, but I'm hoping there are other drinks in their arsenal that would be more up my alley. ____________ #1) Can't blame you for being confused. #2) Ok, a lot.
Service is fast, their oolong milk tea is great, you can actually taste the flavor of tea leaves; it has the perfect amount of creaminess and sweetness. I love the quality of their cups, and prices for all the drinks are very reasonable. It's conveniently located right behind Costco. It has become our new routine to come here after a grocery run.
Best boba place in town ! Their bobas are sooo fresh! Everytime and this is our second time here and coming back again and again! Love this place. My kids and husband loves too ! We are bobas snobs so when we say this places is definitely delicious ! Yum
