This was our first time trying this restaurant while working nearby. We ordered the flake and chips, and the flake was among the best we've ever had! It tasted incredibly fresh and wasn't drenched in thick, soggy batter like at some other places. The chips were cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of chicken salt. When we first moved to the area, we were delighted by the incredible fish and chips available here. However, over the past couple of years, we've noticed a decline in consistency. Some days, everything is absolutely perfect, while other times the potato cakes are overcooked and small. The quality of the fish also varies.
