I am truly impressed. I've lived in Payson for years and never even noticed this place was here, despite driving by countless times. The parking was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite. The service was fast, and everything was fresh and delicious. I couldn't be happier with my experience. I was disappointed with my visit. I was met with a casual "what's up?" when I arrived. After selecting my sandwich, I found out they were out of ham, so I opted for turkey instead. However, I was told they couldn't accommodate my request because it would leave them short on turkey for other customers. I was surprised by that, as I was the one ordering at that moment. My main problem was with the sauces. I requested only a small amount of hot sauce, but they loaded my sandwich with it. Meanwhile, my wife asked for plenty of Chipotle sauce but barely got enough to cover a quarter of a tomato slice. It seems like the best strategy might be to do the opposite of what you really want here.

We ordered a steak and cheese sandwich, but they gave us roast beef instead. When we tried to explain that it was the wrong meat, the employee insisted it was correct. We order the steak and cheese every time, so we know what it looks like. My wife couldn’t eat the roast beef, and they refused to offer any compensation. On top of that, I was overcharged for my Cold Cut sandwich—they charged me for turkey ham and roast beef, which is $4 more. When I pointed out the mistake, they said there was nothing they could do. If you can, please avoid this location. They gave us the wrong order, overcharged us, and were completely unhelpful. I will never return, and I’ll be warning everyone I know to stay away from this Subway. It’s really disappointing because I’ve loved Subway all my life.
This Subway location was very friendly, clean, and served delicious food. Although they were out of Italian herb bread, our favorite, it was understandable since they were quite busy.

In the end, I picked a different turkey sandwich and asked for it to be made the same way as my original choice. Overall, the customer service was quite lacking.
