I'm giving this restaurant a 1-star rating because when it was time to pay, the cashier added a tip automatically without saying anything. Make sure to check your bill before you finalize your payment. There were only three of us, and we had already tipped the waitress, but they added an extra $6.50 to the bill for something we didn't even order. View all feedback.
Amazing authentic Mexican food! It's also very affordable. This place is a hidden gem. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I love bringing my family here. The menu offers a wide variety, so there's something for everyone. I will definitely be back!

We used to go here regularly. We moved an hour away and came back to Pasadena to visit a family member in the hospital. Decided to visit our local favorite and to our great pleasure the food tasted exactly the same and the atmosphere was the same. There'ssomething to be said about family owned and operated. We will go back every time we are in the area. Love The Ranchito!
Breakfast is always great, and lunch awesome. Lunch for breakfast is good too, coffee always fresh, service has always been good. Haven't had a dish that I wouldn't recommend. If ever around the area, stop by for some good Mexican food. Party of 9today, tab just a little over 100. I had fajitas with cactus one of favorite plates.
