we thought his place was a divine, but after he had become ill after he was ordered by them. I asked more. their sauces are not vegan. they contain oyster sauce and/or chicken sauce. it broke my heart. I tried to explain it to them. but they will not change their recipes or listings. I have been living in Pasadena for three years and it is truly a food desert - the food here is terrible. However, Key Wok was a pleasant surprise. Their food is absolutely delicious and was delivered quickly. They are definitely the top Chinese restaurant in Pasadena. Absolutely fabulous!
The restaurant offers delicious Chinese cuisine, but they also make a fantastic Pho that is a hidden gem in Pasadena! The Pho comes in large bowls and is consistently excellent. You can find it on the menu under 'Big Bowls', so make sure to look for it there.
Excellent food and since we are just around the corner we always do a pick up. Most issues people seem to have here are with delivery; however that's done through GrubHub and shouldn't be an issue with this establishment. The parking lot here has a lot to be desired however it's still better to pickup B's having a third party deliver for you.
I'm picky when it comes to Chinese food, I've had too many that have been mushy, slimy, dry, or rubbery . This place tho, excellent. The shrimp fried rice was amazing, had real flavor and the shrimp were awesome. Miso soup and rest of the food was just average but still tasted better than the majority of places I've tried lately. Better than the food tho was the service. Delivery off grub hub said 60-75 mins so I swung thru to grab it. They were so nice, my order was fufilled and I didnt have to check. The place seemed pretty clean too. All in all I think I found my new Chinese spot.
