What Clémence Evrard dislikes about Glozaria:
2 colleagues of mine and me had the chance to dine at this restaurant. Despite of the location that is really very good I've to say that my experience was largely unsatisfactory. The venue itself is pretty nice and has been recently renovated and it is likely this drove me to the restaurant. A pretending to be portoguese/brazialian restaurant . Needless to say we were looking for a great Picanha dinner but just received a badly cooked steak that to me was pretty far from being even south american beef. Not to mention the service. A french young guy was not even trained about what a Picanha is. He was fine just to chase the customer to get additional orders.. Sorry bad experience.
Hostess/owner Gloria makes you feel as welcome as family at her restaurant. The bright yellow chicken stew made with coconut milk was delicious, as was the traditional cut of beef (picanha). Very reasonably priced.
In Paris for just 2 nights, we tried this place "by blind": located in a full-of-restaurant area, very cute from the outside...and we are meat lovers,so we've got in.We've ordered a full menu, with entree and main dish, plus the dessert. All the dishes were good and freshly cooked, the woman/owner is amazing, gentle and super kind also with our 6-years old son.Fun and easy dinner,to be tried if around there.PS: let's also try her Caipirinha!!!Super!!!
If there is anything Brazilian or even Portugese about this place I'll eat my hat other than the owner and the cook screaming at each other while we tried to eat. Beef is very tough and without seasoning. Sausage is more Hormel than Brazilian and serving cold french Fries with white rice does not make it Brazilian or even right. They should be ashamed of such poor quality.
This is a Portuguese-Brazilian restaurant. The food is really good. If you know much about Portuguese food, than you will enjoy this place. Their caldo verde soup was great for a cold day. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and dessert. The owner is a really nice woman who is ready to help you have a great experience.
Only two words, CULINARY ORGASM, our expirience was excellent , the owner the Portuguese lady was all over the place doing an excellent host, she was the only one taking care of all the tables i will recommend to anyone.
