It worries me that I didn 't see a single Vietnamese person in the truck. What makes a quesadilla, a Vietnamese Spicy Chicken Quesadilla ? Is it the shredded cucumber, or the splash of sriracha? It can 't be the tortilla, the chicken, or the cheese the only other ingredients. I couldn 't tell you, but I could probably make you one of these and I won 't charge $13.
I 'm pretty sure this is a rebrand of the bright green Best Banh Mi in LA truck. The slop tastes exactly the same. I got the tofu banh mi, my favorite sandwich, and it was vile. There 's a tiny sprinkling of pickled vegetables, a few jalapenos, completely unseasoned fried tofu, and the soggiest bread I 've ever eaten. I had to dissect it and scoop out wet globs of bread from the center so I could choke it down. They tricked me with their paint job and re-name, but I would recognize that soggy bland sandwich anywhere.
I just had lunch from this food truck and ordered the BBQ Pork Noodle bowl. Unfortunately, most of the meat was mostly cartilage, and the parts that were actual meat were tough and seemed undercooked. The noodles tasted stale and raw, as if they hadn't been prepared properly. The accompanying egg roll was quite soggy. The vegetables were okay, but they were the only redeeming aspect of the dish. Overall, I do not recommend this food truck.
