Took our friends for lunch and although the place was small, with about 5 four seater tables downstairs and four upstairs, the typical portuguese menu and quality of food and friendly service made up for its cosiness. Between us we had the lamb chops and cod dishes, with a melted goat cheese starter, accompanied by regional wines.Great value for money, especially with a €8.50 lunch special!!Well worth a visit and only 5 minute walk from the Poussada Hotel in the castle.
Small Restaurant with a small menu but everything is perfect .Friendly staff who speak good english . I have been here twice and on both occasions have had a super meal. I will definitely return when in Palmela again . It is a 5 minute walk from the Pousada and authentically Portugese.
