Was Anonym at Il Feudo a mag?
nice place good food, there is no big room but many rooms, we were there for a birthday and it was perfect all on a room maybe for a wedding so divided it is not okay. I've been well with my children and grandchildren. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Il Feudo:
without infamy, without glory. Menù other than the one proposed in the other farms. I thought I'd find the classic mixed grill and no ribs. for the rest in the average. View all feedback.
My wife and I stayed here twice during our holiday. the evening meals were excellent, as were the breakfast cakes. we initially stayed in room 12 which was very good. room 4 had a hard bed and the shower was small in this room otherwise I would have given an excellent score.
We were staying here two nights on a walking holiday. The farmhouse is very old with thick walls so the internet does not really work well inside by reasonably well just outside the front door. The location is beautiful in vineyards. The family have their own winery and Gabriella's Prosecco is superb. Other wines are served by the carraffe and they make their own very strong beer too. The rooms are simple but clean and can get extremely hot during the summer. Only one room has limited air conditioning. Electrical sockets and plugs are a challenge for UK travellers. The family speak limited English. The dinner, served during the summer on the front porch, overlooked by a couple of dogs, ducks, chicken and geese is a hearty affair, the first course being pasta, the second meat. The meat portions are enormous and types of meat cannot be fully established. The region is famous for donkey meat, rabbit and guinea fowl. Breakfasts comprise of excellent coffee and mainly cake.
After traveling from Munich to Vo’ in Italy, (Province of Padua in the Italian Veneto region) with 30 other guests in a private coach for a Wedding Celebration of a very dear and old friends of mine from Germany, we arrived at the venue where the Wedding Celebration dinner etc., would take place Whereas some of the guests were staying at this venue, my self and others were staying at this Vineyard ‘El Feudo Hotel’ not far from the Venue itself. The owner, a very nice young lady met us on arrival, welcomed us and gave us our room keys and then showed us to our rooms. I had a single room, as I was traveling on my own as usual. The room was Ok with all what I needed for just the one night. My friends had larger rooms, but they were a couple’s. Not sure how many rooms the Hotel has but seems to cater for a good number. The Hotel has a separate area’s for dining and bar. It comes with free Wi-Fi, which is just great, though I didn’t use it due to time. It like a typical old farmhouse with the beams and layout, and it’s very nice. It is a very friendly hotel, and set in amongst very large area of Vineyards. There is ample parking, and good access to the Hotel, with a large seating area out side the hotel with large umbrellas to keep that Italian sun off one, and the grounds are laid out very nicely with a great area to lounge and have drinks etc., with plenty of different types of seating. I would add that we only stayed at this Hotel due to time we did not eat here, but had some good recommendations from other who had. I enjoyed my very short stay at this friendly hotel Capt.Harry
Stayed here on two non consecutive nights at the start and end of our Veneto holiday. Old farmhouse with outside sitting area and garden set amongst the family fields. All produce is from the farm there is a long list in reception which goes along the lines Salami (ours) Honey (ours) Ham (ours) Wine (ours) etc............ ..LiImited evening menu two primi, two secondi and one or two desserts. Hearty but delicious farmhouse coking. Rooms have a real farmhouse feel too. No aircon in ours but plenty of large windows to open to give a breeze and no mosquitoes to bother us. Several good osterias within 20 minutes walk if you stay longer. Also recommend the Sceriman vineyard about 30 minutes stroll away which did free tasting and sold good 'varietal ' wines at about €4.50 per bottle in pleasant surroundings
