We had El Taco's Alejandro cater our pool party with a taco bar, and it was the best taco bar we've ever had! Unlike some places that skimp on the sides, El Taco provided three kinds of meat (chicken, beef, and pork), rice, beans, corn and flour tortillas, lettuce and tomato, cilantro and onions, nopalitos, pickled onions, radishes, red cabbage, and roasted jalapeños, along with chips and two types of salsa. Just came and got food right now , I don't speak Spanish so I asked for everything in English. The ladies were so rude and just gave us dirty looks . Another lady then cane out and helped everyone but us , when we were first in line . She gave us dirty looks and just stare at us and didn't even greet us. Let me begin by saying that I rarely write each one an evaluation. However, the level of professionalism I just got was so unprofessional I felt that I needed to share. I would also say that I have used eltaco several times in the past, as recently on 18 september 2021! and then the service was great. fast as the dinge change. my wife wrote back and forth with carlos and we wanted to lock ourselves in our date. he said in cell or venmo him $200 to keep the date. because this was new to us, I decided to write carlos myself. here is my text message: hi carlos, they have to do with my wife about the buried for our son graduation on the 18th juni. I tried to call you yesterday, but your postage is full. my wife said we had to make a $200 payment to reserve the date over cell or venmo, which is like cash. there is a contract or something we sign that we show full order, payment, cancellation conditions etc? not that we do not trust them, but we have used them four other paints and never had to put a deposit. I just want to be sure that all parties are protected so that there is no ambiguity. If it's easier, they'll call me so we can talk. happy friday! with the worst submission I have heard that all of them are always messing with him and canceling it in the last minute and everyone tries to find a way to not pay him. After 5 minutes to listen to him, I wonder if I can speak. I explained that the $200 are not big. if he requires cell or venmo (which is like cash) 63 days in advance, they would think it would be best business practices to have a type of contract that determines the full price, payment order, cancellation conditions etc. carlos goes to a gang that says no one has any question to him before. I can't imagine someone sending money without any kind of conditions. Anyway, my experience wasn't good and thought I would share it.

I talked to carlos about a week before the event on the phone. he said he was available for the day and the time (3pm-6pm) we needed. he said to write the number, and he would have everything detailed, let me know that they come 30 minutes before the facility. I wrote it on the morning before the event to confirm for the date, the situation and the time, just to make sure everything was set up. he responded yes. the following day of the event, no appeared to set up time, and so I called to make sure someone comes and he wrote me the location and asked for the city (which I already gave him) then he told him 30 minutes, his darling is on the way. Give me his brother number. I asked if the event was not actually planned and that was why this happened. he said yes? I repeated that I confirmed yesterday, and he said they were ready to go. they arrived at 4 o'clock (an hour and a half late), and we let them know because of the time of the party we would not have for the hour and half that they did not show up (no fault of ourselves.) otherwise we would not use the service. the brother-in-law said, let them check me with carlos and his helper said he would try to work it because he knew we didn't do anything wrong and it was Carlos' fault why the service was not properly booked there on time and prepared. the brother-in-law and carlos did not agree to our conditions. He also tried to say that I lied and never gave him the address when he spoke to one of the men for whom the party was, but I had the text messages to prove it. the team was very unprofessional. they were not polite, lack of communication, unprepared and did not care for the customers. I would highly recommend going with another company. because their website different prices than what they offer me, other companies offer the same amount of food and side, they are respected and appreciated as a customer. they receive service that is most important. the guests waited for an hour to eat and watched that they left for their pride.

However, Carlos became defensive and insisted no one had ever questioned him before. It left me feeling uneasy about moving forward with his services. Overall, my experience was disappointing and I felt it was important to share my honest feedback.

Carlos dismissed my concerns and insisted that no one had ever questioned him before. This exchange left me with a negative impression and prompted me to share my thoughts.
