Was Anonym at Sushifresh a mag?
Somehow my family ended up here for lunch on Canada Day - celebrating our nation's multiculturalism. Surprising find in Byward Market, where I haven't always had the finest sushi experiences. But Sushifresh was truly not just high quality but a great value. We ate inside but you can sit on shared patio la Pointe seafood. Do not pass by thinking it is a fast food sushi. View all feedback.

Went here for supper yesterday (to the location in the Market) and it was SO GOOD. If I could give more stars, I would. In terms of food, the quality of fish was excellent. Prepared well, fresh, so yummy. But even better was just the atmosphere and the staff. Everyone here was super friendly and clearly they take pride in what they do. Even if the food wasn’t awesome I would still come back for the excellent customer experience. But the food was amazing so it’s a thumbs up all around Moral of the story- eat here. It’s truly lovely.
My husband and I recently dined at the new Sushi Fresh location. We began our meal with the Soba salad appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. The sushi bento box and unagi rice bowl were both outstanding! This restaurant is definitely the top sushi spot in town. The staff were extremely friendly and we had a wonderful dining experience.
I had a fantastic lunch today at Sushi Fresh. The soba noodle salad was incredibly fresh and chilled. The salmon sashimi and torched salmon sushi were generously sized, very fresh, and I was pleased that the torched sushi didn't have any fuel aroma like I've experienced at other sushi restaurants. The service was excellent. Overall, it was a delightful experience! I will definitely be returning.
I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident, but I'm glad I did. The sushi was freshly made, and even though they typically only offer takeout, we were able to dine in without needing a server. We tried the dynamite roll, Philadelphia roll, Tuna roll, and Green Dragon roll, all of which were delicious. In particular, I loved the dynamite roll - it was extremely fresh and crispy compared to other places I've tried. I will definitely be returning in the future.
I have always loved Sushi Fresh. The fish is very fresh, the rice is always perfectly seasoned, and the service is quick. The staff are incredibly friendly and polite. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is that they did not have servings of shrimp and veggie tempura anymore. It was one of the main reasons why my wife and I ate there. It seems to have changed when they moved. It would be great if they had any way to add it back to their menu.
