Warm, personable staff and a welcoming regular crowd make this neighborhood bar a top spot to catch games, enjoy cheap happy-hour beer and relax. Standouts include the Bronx Bomber burger, White Album and mac-and-cheese bites, while other dishes can be inconsistent—pizza isn’t true NY-style for some, salads and poutine have flaws, and pasta can be overdone. Fast, friendly service and a roomy, homey atmosphere with plenty of TVs; note restrooms are in the basement, which limits accessibility.
Came in Saturday and was blown away! Had incredible service, Jenn is a star! So personable, made great recommendations, overall took great care of my friends and I. Bronx Bomber Burger is soooooo good!! 5/5!
Amazing place. Owners are great, staff are great, and the regulars are a very welcoming and friendly bunch. Great place to watch and talk sports. Plus cheap beer. Couldn’t recommend more
A little slice of NY right in the center of Ottawa. Such a fun atmosphere if you enjoy themed restaurants like myself.It's a smaller restaurant that allows you to sit by the bar and enjoy some conversations with locals friendly staff, but also allowed space for those that would like to experience it with their own friends too.The menu provides classic NY options which were honestly delicious and exactly as we expected. I'd recommend the Chicago dog as you're never going to get the chance to have yourself a Baseball sized dog with the fixings of a hamburger anywhere else in Ottawa!Lots to love about this place, would easily recommend for those that want a mini escape south of the border right at home.Ciao Bello, thank you for the experience!
We love coming here! Cute/cool atmosphere and good spot to watch sports or just chill for a beer. Super friendly staff, especially the bartender with the beard. The NY slice with pepperoni is a good snack and the White Album is a standout whitesauce based pizza. The mac/mac and cheese balls are also to die for.
Just got home from my first visit to Pubblico Eatery. We had a great Sunday lunch and was beyond happy with our meal and our time there. We started with the Fried Zucchini, which was the best I've ever had, and then shared a pizza. I've lived in Ottawafor about 15 years and eaten more pizza then I'd like to admit....Pubblico Eatery was the best I've tried in Ottawa hands down.Everything was made in house and very fresh. I only wish I lived closer, highly recommend giving it a try. Will definitely beback again to try different items off the menu. I never post reviews for restaurants, but it's extremely rare to enjoy everyaspect of your dining experience.
