It’s fine, but nothing special. They’ll charge you extra for any side. Our food took forever and was cold and our waitress was clearly hungover and more concerned with her phone. Our tip reflected her service level. This place has deteriorated since 2017 when I was able to frequent it more.
Maddie welcomed us, and kept us here. The food is amazing- texted my kids the menu and took to go orders before we left. But literally she made recommendations, made the bloody mix, and chatted like a friend. Keep Maddie here- we might not come back otherwise! ?
Bar 430 is a great restaurant. The main parking is located in the back of the restaurant on Jefferson Street with easy building entry. Lovely atmosphere and decor and most importantly, great food! I went for a work lunch so I didn't drink, but their alcohol menu is impressive.
Excellent service, atmosphere, and experience. I ordered a Tom Collins and an Old Fashioned which were both expertly made by our bartender. I wasn’t super hungry so I just ordered the Steak Frites. Amazing! The blue cheese sauce was subtle, the steak wasperfect medium rare, and the Parmesan cheese shavings were just right. Came here on the recommendation of our AirBnB owner and Iwas not disappointed. Totally recommend if you are in the Oshkosh area and are looking for a chill, authentic place with goodvibes and a great atmosphere. Will definitely come back!
We had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for our food because they they forgot to put our order in. We were asked if we wanted a second drink after we were there an hour and 15 minutes and had to clear all glasses and ask for a water refill by going up tothe bar or ourselves. The food was supper at best yes and I have eaten there before for a few months ago and enjoyed the food
