Nestled in a tidy neighborhood storefront, Breadsmith is beloved for its artisan loaves, scones and pastries — fragrant, fresh and full of character — and a small selection of jams and pizza dough to go. Clean, friendly service and a quaint outdoor seating area charm regulars, though several customers report inconsistent baking: dry or overly hard crusts and occasional underbaking, plus no coffee, bagels or indoor seating. Worth a visit for true bread lovers, but temper expectations around consistency and occasional service lapses.
I've been here twice and purchased the Rye sliced bread and twice the crust is extremely hard, which takes away from the experience of a good loaf of bread. It's probably a personal choice or like/dislike of certain items, just a personal taste.The staff was friendly, the store was clean and the shelf's were stocked of many baked goods.
We gave them a try three times and each time it was more disappointing. Bread rolls were always dry and seemed days old. Cookies were extremely dry and lacked flavor. Coffee cake was undercooked and still tasted like raw batter. Pizza dough turns out tough and cardboard like with ZERO flavor.

Cinnamon Rolls were stale, dry and tasted old.What bothered me was at the time I visited, there was no prices posted
