It's been awhile since I've been back and the new buffet layout of ingredients works a lot better. The Korean BBQ tastes great and gives you the freedom to season and cook your selection of proteins and vegetables as you deem fit. Went with family to celebrate the season and we were all impressed with the value for the experience.Will be back again sooner than last time. View all feedback.

Rode 39 mins on my bike cause I wanted ramen that badly. Service was good I can say that . But my reviews are based off food NOT service! I was pleasantly surprised by the prices: $28.95 for an all-you-can-eat option, and $31.95 if you want to add the hot pot, which includes unlimited rice. However, substituting fried rice comes with an extra $2 charge. I did have a little issue when it came time to pay. My ten-year-old son only had chicken and some rice, but we were charged the same price as an adult. I've dined at many restaurants globally, and typically children have a different price. This place, however, charges based on height, which struck me as unusual. Please consider that my son is growing quickly and just happens to be a little over 55 inches tall. On a positive note, there was a wide selection at the meat and vegetable bar. Desserts were somewhat limited, but there was ice cream available if that’s your preference. I appreciated how the meat was marinated, as it was a healthier option with lower sodium content. If they were to update the restaurant’s decor, I could easily see it earning a 5-star rating. Our waitress was fantastic—helpful and knowledgeable, which made our experience even better.
Honestly, this restaurant is our little secret gem. It's truly remarkable, and the service is outstanding. I hesitate to share this because it’s usually not too crowded, but we really want them to succeed, and that's what matters most. They offer a wide variety of options, including meats, vegetables, and desserts. Everything is just so delicious!
I had a lovely dinner for just $28.99. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, and the wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. Conveniently located near my home on the east side of town, I enjoyed a delicious all-you-can-eat experience. Once this place receives the upgrade it deserves, I would gladly give it a full 5 stars.
So we came here after a late night movie in Waterford. Never come out to this area very often and we just wanted somewhere that wasn't closing immediately. Hot pot is usually always good. Came here and it wasn't crowded at all, food was kinda bland. Got 2 broths. Miso and meat broth. The miso was way better than the meat broth the meat broth was very lacking in flavor. The sauces were good, the all you can eat bar had a decent selection but I wondered how long all that raw food had been sitting out for hours. The foodbar and frozen meat case definitely weren't very clean. The tongs that tons of people touched with their hands were just sitting inside the meat containers...at least I boiled everything in scalding hot broth to kill any potential contaminants. It wasn't the worst meal at all. But it definitely wasn't the best. The service was almost non-existent but that's okay because it's an all you can eat place you mostly do the service yourself. Eh service. Kinda dirty restaurant. Sorta bland food. It was very filling at least. For the price we paid, I think I would go elsewhere for sure next time.
Danketsu used to be super great, and the service was awesome. They had great specials, options, and sauces. I'm the past year their prices have skyrocketed, the quality has tanked, and the service just isn't as good. All the specials are gone too even though they're still advertised on their social media. I also had a snail in my food last time I went which was just... not the best.
