**Voodoo Bar: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Nestled across from Village Pointe, Voodoo Bar offers a unique atmosphere but struggles with service inconsistency. While many patrons enjoy engaging waitstaff and a cozy layout, a prominent issue rests with an older male bartender. Complaints have emerged regarding his unfriendly demeanor and a tendency to prioritize personal enjoyment over customer service, leading to feelings of neglect, particularly for those outside his preferred circle. Although some appreciate the welcoming ambiance and enjoyable events like Keno, the concerning reports about the bartender's behavior could deter potential visitors. Overall, Voodoo Bar showcases promising elements, but urgent improvements are needed in service quality.

Was User at Voodoo Lounge a mag?
This is a reasonably sized bar tucked away across the street from the Village Pointe shopping area. It can be easy to overlook if you're not specifically looking for it. The waitstaff here is excellent. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Voodoo Lounge:
If you visit Voodoo and the only bartender available is the older gentleman, you might want to reconsider your visit. He's often preoccupied with his friends or flirting with women. If you don’t fit into one of those categories, you may feel like a burden just for asking for a drink. It seems like management would benefit from providing him better training on how to handle customer payments. View all feedback.
We tried some tacos and a burrito for the first time today, and it felt like we were eating a basic frozen meal that had just been reheated. The salsa was likely the worst we've ever experienced.
We always look forward to visiting this place for a drink, and we occasionally play Keno. When there's a sports event on TV, it really attracts a large crowd. The bartenders are...
I arrived around 11:30 PM on a Monday night after watching a movie. We settled onto a couch and checked out the menu. Noticing that they made Sazeracs, I thought that would be a...
The bar is decent, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The bartenders see you waiting to order a drink, yet they completely ignore you, often taking shots before even acknowledging your presence. The music is incredibly loud, making it nearly impossible to have a conversation with the person sitting right next to you. Additionally, the "security guard" at the front comes across as disinterested and quite rude. Overall, it's an average bar, but don't expect attentive service; it feels like they just don't care and might as well ignore you.
The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and engaging! I really appreciated the layout and the furniture. We had a large group, and the abundance of couches and coffee tables made our experience very comfortable.
