The restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. Some found the food to be disappointing, with bland and unappealing dishes, while others enjoyed their meals and found them to be delicious. The service received positive feedback for being prompt and attentive, and the margaritas were highlighted as a must-try. The atmosphere was criticized for being dark and dingy, with cleanliness concerns raised about the presence of gnats. The overall consensus was that while some patrons were satisfied with their experience, others would not recommend the restaurant based on their visit.
This place is terrible! Food was way to expensive. Bland, soggy wilted lettuce inside the enchilada. Took 2 bites and couldn't stomach the rest. Never been back. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
Why did I never know about this place?. great margaritas. the owner only makes them for you. you have to try. they have been there for 30 years. they will certainly do something right 20 sep, 2014 chicken enchilada. delish 20 sep, 2014 yummm, why did I never know about this place? tostada. and the chicken chiladas and the margaritas!
Disgusting unauthentic mexican' food. Just had lunch there today, I wish we would have just gone to Taco Johns. There was absolutely no seasoning in the food. Nothing would make me think this place was Authentic Mexican service was OK. Maria the owner/manager was rude and refused to make our order right. What mexican restaurant do you know that only has soft shell taco shells? UNLESS you order a grande taco which is about impossible to appropriately eat without everything going everywhere. First and last time to visit this etablishment.
Surprisingly very disappointing all around. Walked in 30min after they opened and restaurant was so quiet we thought they were closed. Few tables in the place were whispering cause it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Ordered tortilla soup $5.95 waschicken stock (tasted like bouillon cubes) with mushy tortilla chips soaking in it and low grade cheddar cheese on top. Nothingactually in the soup except what was just listed. Small menu with same ingredients repeated over and over (and was out ofthings) entrees were not visually or tastefully appealing. 2ppl spent $45 and waitress had to throw away about 50% of our foodcause we just didn?t want to eat anymore. Receipt comes as hand written on a piece of paper (had to use my phone for an actualtotal) and after 10min of waiting for server so we could pay, I realized you have to walk up to the register to pay. Not worththe experience.
