I have been wanting to visit for quite some time, and finally got the opportunity this afternoon. We visited during happy hour (3-6) and really enjoyed sharing some of the very reasonably priced appetizers with some friends. The calamari was really good, fried pickles were good as well, although a lot of the batter had fallen off. We also enjoyed the mussels, and black bean cakes. The black bean cakes were excellent! they had a jalapeno relish that really complimented them perfectly. I also ordered the meatball patty sandwich, it was really good, served on a crusty bun, I could only force down half (not for lack of trying). I am seriously miserable, the portions were HUGE! We also enjoyed the lasagna which was outstanding, and a Philly. There must have been a mishap with the pepper in the kitchen, because the philly was just doused in it. They also had a full size shuffleboard table that was a lot of fun! This place is definitely in my top 5.

The food was v... read more Dinner tonight at Jimi D's with family. I've driven by many times and always wondered what it was like. I am very glad I decided to come here. The food was very good. I ordered the chicken ciabatta sandwich. It was a good portion. Chicken was moist. Came with a side salad, and the ranch dressing was homemade and good. My uncle ordered the Reuben which the server touted as the best in town. Sister ordered the same. Brother in law ordered philly. They said Philly was excellent. Fries were hot and crispy. As for the Reuben there were mixed reviews. Uncle called it "excellent" while sister said it was average. I tasted and thought it was good. Not the best but good. Service was the clincher. Very friendly and attentive. Jenni our waitress should be commended. The big problem with Jimi D's is the excessive noise. It was deafening. Half of the restaurant toward the front was fine, but we sat in back half and couldn't hear ourselves think. That's a problem they need to fix. We'll be back, but we will definitely sit in the front.

The staff was very friendly... read more The restaurant is really spacious, offering plenty of seating, a large patio, and indoor games. They have a wide selection of beers. The staff was very friendly, and our order arrived in about 15 minutes. The place was clean and well-maintained. The only downside was that the fries were soggy, but that was expected since we ordered takeout. Overall, I would definitely eat here again; the fish tacos and sweet potato fries are fantastic!

We started with the Beer Battered Calamari, which was fantastic, and the sauce complemented it perfectly. For our main courses, we had Gnocchi, Seared Pesto Salmon with Sautéed Spinach, and Spaghetti and Meatballs for the kiddo. Although the first plate of salmon was overcooked, the issue was quickly addressed. I would have definitely given them 5 stars if the salmon hadn't been burnt. Overall, it's a lovely place with a welcoming atmosphere and great food!
