My friend and I were pleasantly surprised during our first visit to Rafis Platter. Our waiter, Chad, went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. He answered all of our questions, made recommendations, consulted with the chef about the ingredients in a dish, and even showed us the proper way to eat the Pakistani platter. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, Chad, for all that you did. I even took a picture of our meal when we were halfway through. I had never tried curry before, but now I love it.
Found this gem as we were traveling through New York. Food was amazing! The French Onion soup is a must- best we have ever had. Don’t pass the opportunity to try this restaurant- you won’t be disappointed!
Rafi's Platter is a VERY GOOD Restaurant! I definitely recommend Rafi's platter for Mediterranean/Indian food. Ever dish I have had has been delicious!
The food taste AMAZING!!!?..once it came?60 mins later and after watching 4-5 groups in that time leave due to the wait on any service ????
I wish I could comment on the food, but I can tell you the service and management of this place is terrible. 20 minutes after taking a seat to put in a drink order. 15 min later we placed our food order, still no drinks. 20 min after that, waitress cameback to ask what drinks we wanted again. After another 30 min. Still no drinks or food. After more than an hour we left. Oneexcuse we got was that the bar was backed up... while walking out, there were two people behind the Bar... and they werechatting and not making any drinks. AVOID until management cam get this place under control.
