Nestled in a picturesque location, this restaurant is a mixed bag for diners. While the lively atmosphere and live music create an inviting vibe, service issues often detract from the experience. Patrons report long wait times for food and drinks, even during less busy hours. Nonetheless, the venue offers great views from its outdoor seating and a solid menu featuring typical bar fare. Highlights include taco Tuesdays and a bustling space for watching sports. Despite inconsistent service, many visitors return for the ambiance and the occasional live event, making it a noteworthy stop for food and fun.
Finally, I stopped at this place that I always drive on my way to or from Olean. The parking lot is almost always full and I see the bar is closed now. A very unique place with a modest menu of typical bar food. Many drinks to choose and sit a variety of areas. You can sit outside or on the side, overlooking the mountains. Of course, the seat at the bar is available and Darts and a billiard table are available. Would definitely be back for a quick bite or drink on the way in or out of town.
The view is amazing, but Dusty and Jody have improved this place 1000%! If you have not visited your list! Great food, great service, great atmosphere!
This is a great stop when you're on the way or go through. The food was delicious. It was clean! The covered terrace with view. Sitting with a view in beautiful! I hope I'll go back! And that I had better photos.
The band played and we packed Halfway Inn to the brim! It took a little while to get our food and drinks, but they should know by now that whenever we perform, we fill the place up. Halfway Inn is also a fantastic spot where people bring their 4-wheelers and side-by-sides, making the experience even better. Plus, you can enjoy drinks outside under a lovely shaded patio. Their menu offers great options to complement the atmosphere.
Halfway Inn is an awesome spot with a disappointing level of service. I ordered just five chicken wings and a water, but it’s been an hour without any attention from the staff. Even on a slow Saturday evening, the service was lacking. It’s no wonder the place is almost empty. Hopefully, their menu quality improves alongside their customer care.
