Thank you to the whole team that made our stay very pleasant. historic chalet of the resort markstein, skis on foot, full of charm. small alsatian dishes very happy after a day in the open air, and a savoyard fondue to conclude our stay well if we didn't miss anything except a little sun. Average home, that is, neither good nor bad. Fortunately, the young waitress for dinner is very cordial. Correct food, but no more. Good breakfast. Room 17 shower is really funny. Small price disagreement. From the start, I made a reservation for a room for one person and for a night in half board. I was told 84 Euros per person per night in a double room. The city has little to offer in the next season, although the place is ideal for hikers. there are a limited number of accommodations in the opposite, although the offer varies from budget to medium-sized.
Five of us were there on our motorbikes in June 2025. The location is fantastic, up on the Markstein. The rooms are simple but clean, only the showers are a bit too small for overweight people. The breakfast was continental, with everything included. The half-board dinner was excellent, always at least three courses, regional specialties. Everything was delicious, but not for people who only know schnitzel. The girls in the service were amazing, incredibly nice, helpful, and approachable. The only downside: the bar always closed around 9:00 PM. But then we were refreshed in the morning, which was OK. I think we'll be back.
Very nice hotel in the Vosges, right on the route of the Crete. We stayed at Hotel Wolf in early September 2023 for one night. Parking is sufficient. The room was simple and clean. WC and shower are separated. We had half board. Dinner was rich and delicious, as was the dessert. Wine from the region was great. To the evening rest on the Kammstraße returns and you can sit on benches in front of the hotel and enjoy the magnificent landscape. In favorable weather conditions you can see from the Vosges from the Alps. Breakfast was also abundant. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We can recommend Hotel Restaurant Wolf.
