The food was mediocre, and the service left a lot to be desired. My husband and I had an encounter with one of the owners who was quite rude and intrusive. The prices were far too high for the quality provided—it's like paying five-star hotel prices for what feels like a casual dining experience. Overall, we were disappointed and unimpressed, and we won't be coming back.
I recently visited a fantastic Filipino restaurant in Orlando and had a wonderful experience. I dined in for lunch, and the price per person ranged from $10 to $20. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect rating of 5 out of 5. The service was equally impressive, also a solid 5, and the atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment, with another 5 rating. I highly recommend trying their Halo Halo—it’s a must!
I've been going to this restaurant since I relocated to Orlando, and it never lets me down. You absolutely must try their daing bangus! The staff is friendly, especially Lorie (I'm not sure about the spelling of her name). I recommended this place to my family, and we visited today; they loved it! They even said it was better than another Filipino restaurant they had tried. The portions are generous, the atmosphere isn't too crowded, and the prices are very reasonable. I should mention that I’m quite picky and have been to many Filipino restaurants, but this one is my favorite. It truly feels like dining in the Philippines. The food is amazing, I promise!
After our meal, we decided to try the Halo-halo for dessert. I was really looking forward to it, but the first bite was disappointing due to its sour taste. Unfortunately, the second bite was just as sour. I called the waitress over to discuss it, and she suggested that it might be the milk poured on top of the Halo-halo. Ultimately, I chose to return it. I told my husband that we wouldn't be coming back. The food didn't meet our expectations, which is why I gave them a one-star rating.
