They have been closed for renovations, and we check weekly to see if they've reopened. At this point, I'm starting to wonder if they ever will. I really miss some of the best and only authentic Caribbean vegetarian food in the Rockland area. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
I visited this vegan restaurant on a rainy day since it was the closest option to the highway, and I was pleasantly surprised! The food is perfectly seasoned, and the seitan is incredibly juicy. I’m usually sensitive to spicy foods, but I had no issues here. I will definitely return to this place and highly recommend the rib empanada!
Nyack Main Essentials is among the finest restaurants in Rockland County. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. Did I mention it’s healthy? I would give it 5 stars!

This restaurant is definitely one of my top five favorite vegetarian places! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They offer a selection bar where you can customize your meal with rice, greens, and two different protein options—I could go on about it! Plus, their full menu features some of the most affordable choices, like a veggie chicken sandwich, veggie burger, and tofu patty, all for just a few dollars. You'd pay triple for the same items at other places. They also have cold-pressed juices that are made fresh on the spot!
