A surprise in Jadaf. Good atmosphere. Good prices. They have an happy hour from 4pm to 5pm where you can get a beer for 20 AED. Mr. Mark took good care of the service. I’ll come back here. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: AED 50–100
We unfortunately were unable to experience the Tea Room’s high tea service today. We arrived and it was confusing as to whether we sit ourselves or wait to be seated. The male server looked over at us, ignored us and continued to serve others. We waited a minute or two and then sat down at the empty table ourselves. About a minute later the female server came over and said hello to us, but nothing else. No explanation about the menu or the high tea or anything. Just a hello. We waited 15 mins after that and neither of them came over to take our order. For a while they just stood behind the counter talking. And then after that they went over to the other tables, completely ignoring us. We were so confused. Are we supposed to go up and order the high tea? After being ignored continuously, we decided to leave. It’s unfortunate that because of the dismissive staff we weren’t able to try to the high tea service.
