I luv this place!. in the heart of student-ville, where they least expect it is the crisp, authentic restaurant. I'm trying to make a different plate every day and never get out of it. View all feedback.

Last Friday was date Friday. I was taken on a surprise trip to That place on Lenton Boulevard' (Lenton, Notts, It's called Higoi , it's Japanese, they serve mainly sushi and sashimi and my goodness it is to die for. View all feedback.
I have traveled to Tokyo numerous times for work and always lamented the inability to find authentic Japanese cuisine in Europe. However, Mr. Kato has successfully transported Japan with him! The food and service are both excellent. That's all.
The food was delicious and presented beautifully. It was an exceptional experience and a fantastic evening out. Highly recommend.
Quite honestly the thought of coming back to dine here throughout lockdown was the one thing that was getting us through. Their food is sublime and so incredibly authentic but their service is something else. They were always a firm favourite of mine but coming back today after everything that has happened has truly shown how incredible they are. The service and attention to detail was amazing and they made us feel so safe. It is hands down THE BEST sushi restaurant outside of London and their service to second to none!!!
A bit out of the city center there is a small authentic Japanese restaurant, the food is fantastic! Probably it is the only real Japanese restaurant in Nottingham. Better to book
The best Japanese restaurant in Nottingham! After trying almost every Japanese restaurants in Nottingham, I have to say this is the best one. I have tried sashimi, sushi, terriyaki chicken and tapas——all good! Very nice service. Reasonable price. Such a gem!
