The restaurant has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the welcome was delightful. Unfortunately, the meal—fish and chips—was disappointing. Though it was served with a warm smile, it didn't quite meet expectations.
I had a great experience at this restaurant! The staff were friendly, and I enjoyed their large fish and chips. I visited while in Nottingham after it was recommended to me, and it truly lived up to the hype. It was a lovely meal!
I ordered from here for the first time this evening, and I can honestly say it won't be the last! This is a truly traditional English fish and chips shop. I ordered squid and chips through UberEats, and with delivery included, it costs less than £10. Nowadays, many places don't offer the same quality as I remember from years ago, but the food at Billy's Fish Bar really took me back to my childhood. I have fond memories of having fish and chips every Saturday night when I would visit my father. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic fish and chips; you can't go wrong with Billy's!
