**A Culinary Journey at Norwalk's Fun Peruvian Spot** Nestled in Norwalk, this restaurant boasts a mix of culinary experiences and customer insights. Diners rave about the delicious Peruvian dishes, including flavorful pollo saltado and addictive green sauce. However, service seems to be a recurring theme, with some guests expressing disappointment over inattentive staff and incorrect orders. Despite mixed reviews on service and occasional mishaps, the restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere and dedication to flavor create a memorable dining experience. With enthusiastic recommendations for dining in rather than takeout, many patrons leave satisfied, eager to return for the tantalizing tastes of Peru.
Had a work lunch here, didn't think much of the place from the outside but the food and service was excellent. Maria was wonderful taking care of us. Great portion sizes, even the snapper was a healthy size. Worth the money.
I had a terrible experience when placing an order for pick up recently. I ordered Saltado de Camarones Instead I received another dish which wasn?t what I ordered. I went back to the restaurant right after I noticed it and brought the uneaten foodback and politely mentioned this wasn?t the order I placed and if I could receive saltado de camarones. They brought the bag offood towards the back I thought they were going to replace my order and instead gave the same food I returned but replaced mybag. I went back again and told them kindly that I would like to have Saltado de camarones as this isn?t the order that I paid24$ for I left a 3$ dollar tip which totaled 27$ . The gentlemen went to the back again and this time told me my order wouldbe ready soon. I patiently waited and thanked him, As I was heading out he stopped me and told me I had to pay for the mealwhich was another 21$ after tax. Which I paid for but unfortunately I will never go back to this place again. I would expect ifI was dining at the restaurant and I placed an order and the food served to me wasn?t what I ordered that I wouldn?t have to payfor another meal! The food is delicious but it?s a shame I had such a terrible experience and I think as a customer I couldhave been better taken care of. I was nothing but kind and understanding to the situation Mistakes happen but having to payalmost 50$ just to get the food I initially ordered is unfortunate..
I go for the food.. Great quick option right off of i-95 on post road. Favs include Choros a la chalacas, Lomo saltado, pollo a la brasa, Chaufa. I wasn't a fan of the amount of squid in the seafood chaufa. Aji sauce on everything! Soups and red sangriaclose seconds.
My experience at Fiesta Limena was good overall. Although I’m not a big fan of Peruvian food, it was a positive experience. The portions are very large, and I believe when the quantity is too much, the flavor sometimes gets lost. Eating such large portions can also lead to food waste. They should focus on serving the right amount—enough to enjoy the dish without excess. If food costs are high and profits low, this place might struggle to stay open in the coming years. My suggestion would be to offer well-balanced portions and also garnish the plates nicely. On the bright side, the service was excellent, truly outstanding. For Hispanic people and anyone who enjoys Peruvian cuisine, Fiesta Limena is a great spot. I’ve visited twice with friends, and it’s always been a good experience. The menu offers a nice variety worth trying.
I like to go to eat. When there are not many people in the place, the service from the waiters is great and the food is served at the right time. But when the restaurant is full, the waiters can't handle serving so many tables and it really isn't worth eating there. The food is served late and there is no good service. I came back this last month. But I hadn't gone to eat here for several months. Why 3 times they treated us very poorly because the place was very full. And well these last 2 times I went this month I loved the service. I hope they continue like this!
