Was James Dorantes Sr at Closed a mag?
A hidden gem! While waiting for my windows to be tinted at Car Toys, I decided to take a stroll in search of breakfast and stumbled upon Carmen’s Kitchen, which I learned used to be called something else. They serve both Mexican and Honduran cuisine. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and a Honduran quesadilla-like dish. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is that the eggs were slightly salty. Unfortunately, when our food finally did come out, it was a big letdown. Everything we ordered was overly salty. Maybe they were just having an off day, as I've seen many positive reviews about the food, but it just wasn't to our liking. When the waitress checked in to see if everything was okay, I mistakenly said yes because I hadn't tasted the food yet. In hindsight, I could have mentioned it after trying our meals...
