The Lavigne Tavern is a wonderful Northern Ontario gem. We stopped there for lunch on a Sunday & were greeted by Guy & Judy. They were wonderful hosts. The beer was cold & they had a nice craft variety on tap. The food that we had wasn’t overly special, but they had a nice selection of Canadian go-tos. I only wish we could have checked out the live music in the evenings, as the place has a really rustic, lived & love... View all feedback.

It's the only place for miles and miles, or kilometers and kilometers because you are in Canada. We had the pizza and it was actually very good.
Stopped here for lunch and I tried the fish and chips while my son had a burger. This is good pub fare. Pretty good menu with a variety of items. If you are in the area stop by and give it a try.
The amount of times we have gone past and said we should try there.Well today we did and I have to say I was not disappointed. It was a lunch time drop in so it was quiet for a Monday.Typical bar food is offered at very reasonable prices.We went with a medium Pizza which is as big as most other offerings "large"Nice base with REAL toppings. Which lends some credence to thier claim of the best north of T.O.A decent selection of craft beers too which is always a bonus feature for me.This will be one of those "once discovered never forgotten" places so next trip will be an evening visit as they get some really good music names in this small venue.
This little tavern rocks great time! Fantastic pizza wings! The best offer of entertainment. came out to see Bill Durst, had an explosion! From the friendly, attentive staff to Guy and his wife, thank you for a great time!...We will be back!
The pizza and wings were fantastic and what a nice treat on a rainy afternoon. We will do this again!
