This is a typical Chicago hot dog spot. The Italian beef was quite good, my daughter devoured her hot dog, and my sister enjoyed her gyro. I've been multiple times and haven't had any disappointments with their food. The Greek salad features a generous piece of feta for those who are interested. View all feedback.

I've always wanted to try this restaurant since I've walked by it countless times. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. We visited around 10:30 AM on a Saturday. The fries tasted like they had been reheated from the night before, and the Italian sausage was in a similar state, with dry and tough edges. We won't be returning. View all feedback.
Came here after working out, looking for something healthy. Grilled chicken dinner had tons of protein. Highly recommend adding one or two more healthy sides and appeal to another audience.
This local establishment has been doing business in the same location for 62 years. There is a reason for their longevity: they do things the right way. The menu is sufficient enough to offer something for everyone. The restaurant is clean, if not real upscale and trendy. The washrooms are immaculate. The glass at the entry isn 't covered in hand prints all the time because it is being cleaned as necessary. There are TV 's so that you can watch as you dine if interested. My wife and I have lived in the immediate area for 15 years and Booby 's is a frequent choice for us. We have enjoyed a majority of their menu options over the years and while all good I do have some favorites. The onion rings are to die for. The cheese fries are fabulous. I love their soup. Their milk shakes, especially strawberry, are wonderfully tasty without being overly sweet and artificial tasting. Gyros, Fajitas, BLT, Corned Beef, Chicken Parmigiana sandwich... all really delicious. And then there are the burgers. They 're big and charbroiled, juicy and perfectly cooked. I love the BigC as burgers are probably my all time favorite food. I 'd rather enjoy ONE of these treats every week or two than a fast food burger daily. I ask for condiments and tomato/pickles on the side so that I can control how much of it goes on the burger. I love the type of pickles they use as opposed to the standard hamburger pickles, and the tomatoes are always really nice. You just can 't go wrong here. Highly recommended!
I have been going to Booby's for over 30 years enjoying their famous Steak Sandwich. Today, Juneteenth, I went with my 2 normal lunch friends and ordered 3 Steak Sandwiches with Fries, 2 salads and a soup, along with 3 Large Drinks. Our normal order every time we go there. Today was Way Different. Salads and Soup were normal/outstanding. The Steak Sandwiches were served on either day old or older bread or some new recipe of bread which was just terrible. Usually it is served on a Fluffy, light French bread. This was like 3 times as dense almost like Sourdough bread. A complete Turn Off. I usually eat 1+ steak sandwiches of the 3 ordered and struggled with just mine. We actually threw away 1/2 of a steak sandwich because it was So Bad. I did not say anything to crew at the counter but I certainly hope this is not the New Norm for Booby's. Hopefully next time the bread will be back to normal.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. I visited on New Year's Eve, and it had delicious food and a cozy atmosphere.
