An address to be found in Nice in local or in transit! A weekly menu with a selection of some seasonal dishes, Simple and very tasteful. There are not enough superlatives in the dictionary to describe the excellence of this intimate restaurant, its exquisite cuisine and the kindness of Bruno, the master of the place. Go to lunch at 'La Maizon' and your taste buds will be marvelled, all shady and served in a highly appreciated artistic and cultural setting.
We arrived close to 3pm but were welcomed into the restaurant for lunch. We had a simple yet delicious salad buffet and homemade juice. The meal was really delightful, and the host was super friendly! We recommend it ;)
I would say do not miss this magnificent authentic gem. The owners huge heart shows through in every way-- the beautiful delicious homemade Fig Jam, fresh juice, outstanding Cappuccino and delightful croissants and bread, cheese platter, and the warm and inviting interiors. What a perfect host and thank you for your unprecedented hospitality.
This place lives up to its name: like the “MAIZON”. A flawless one: A choice of delicious dishes. Freshness and original flavors, well combined, exotic... Copious dishes. A delightful and unique experience. A great change from the “sidewalk cafe” options elsewhere. Brilliantly prepared food from the kind and friendly proprietor. There are only a few choices at any time; he emphasizes thoughtfulness in each dish. The dishes are simple in concept but complex in their execution. Lovely.
