Tried the broccoli pecorino at Organnon’s in Wrightstown and wow, so delicious tasted so fresh!! My partner and I immediately looked up where else we could find that and other flavors in the area.
Amazing soups, dips, marinade! THE reason I go to the Wrightstown Farmer’s market, and I’ve never had any issues with storage or expiration. Right in the fridge they go, and when ready to use they’re perfect. Lately, I’ve been using one of the Thai-inspired items to marinate my chicken and it’s divine.
The owner brought some samples to my work and they were absolutely delicious. The cauliflower dip was awesome with tortilla chips and crackers and my coworkers that had the soup really loved it as well...I'd highly recommend picking one up from Hamish (the owner) the next time you're in the area.
Picked up some dip for the weekend. Priced a bit high, thought it would be worth it.... It growing mold before I even opened it. Best by 2/16/22 date and it was moldy 1/16/22
I knew nothing about BowlFace soups until stumbling onto them on Yelp while looking for a new lunch option in town. Their distribution channels are still rather meager, but Organon the health food store on Route 413, Wrightstown, PA, has a selection in their back room frozen foods department. I picked up the Vegetarian Vietnamese Pho and Roasted Butternut Squash to sample a couple of flavors I normally love. Each plastic package was 12 ounces, enough for one meal. Stovetop or microwave for a few minutes and recycle the sleeve container. I slurped the pho today after shoveling the heavy fresh wet white precip that fell from early this morning. While it lacked the rich spicy lemongrass base of long time pot simmered stock found in Pho 75 and other good VN restaurants, and the thick nest of noodles and fresh pinched Thai basil leaves, it was pretty good for what it was healthy nearly instant soup with only wholesome ingredients. A squirt of Sriracha for an extra kick and it was bowl rim to lips; bottoms up! Who had time for a spoon? BowlFace! I'll be back here after trying the Butternut Squash, but wanted to review the Pho while it was still warming my stomach. Gotta say this is a bit of a homer epistle, as I am very happy that Newtown's entrepreneurial spirit is thriving even in the Age of Covid.
