I had high expectations based on the reviews but was quite disappointed. The catfish was the only standout dish, while everything else fell flat. My friend's meal was burnt, the waffles were overly thick and hard to enjoy, and the grits lacked flavor. I really dislike leaving a negative review, but this experience warrants it. An hour after placing our order, we noticed a woman entering with bags full of eggs. Meanwhile, every table that had been seated after us received their meals before we did. Twenty minutes later, our server brought us one plate and informed us that they had run out of eggs midway through. We kept waiting, and about 40 minutes later, one member of our party still hadn’t received their dish, and another was missing their sides. We were a group of seven, and it seemed that everyone else in the restaurant was being served. To top it off, we saw the same woman walk in with more ingredients. It’s hard to believe a restaurant named Scrambled would run out of eggs! This was during a busy Saturday brunch from 11 am to 1 pm. As for the food, the sausage tasted like Jimmy Dean's, the French toast resembled Bunny Bread, and the chicken and waffles were decent, though the sauces were served on the side. Overall, my ratings are as follows: Food: 2, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 3.
Absolutely fantastic! The food deserves a perfect score of 5, just like the exceptional service and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend!
