What a lovely place to meet friends for lunch away from the hustle and bustle of the Surfers. The lunch menu was not huge but what we had was lovely, fresh and tasty. Great coffee as well! We had the grilled fish of the day which was served with a fantastic salad if different veges, the steak sandwich was in turkish bread which made it light and the steak was very tender and the other person in our party had the eggs... Café offers a reasonable menu but the popularity of the dam means that staff are a bit 'pressed' when a number of coaches arrive. I just had a light meal that was well prepared but took a bit of time to be served due to three coaches arriving same time. Popped up to enjoy a drink and the view, only to find clouds obscuring nearly all sides. Still a great place to get a drink and take in some live music.

My partner and I had a reservation for lunch on Friday for two, but we didn't really need it as the restaurant wasn't busy. We decided to sit inside as it was a bit cool outside, even though there is a large seating area with a nice view. We ordered chicken bacon, fish and chips, and a few drinks. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The café is located right by the Hinze Dam, so there are some beautiful walks nearby. We had a great time and the bill came to $60. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
