I was truly impressed by the quality of the food. Everything was delicious, and the pizzas we ordered were freshly made. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Barrhaven, and I can't wait to return. Update: I returned to Juluca's for dinner last Saturday and tried the pasta. This restaurant fell short of my expectations. I was surprised that they ran out of steak by 5 PM, especially since they open at 4 PM, and it wasn't even a busy day—there was only one other table occupied when we arrived. A must-visit in Barrhaven! The food is exceptionally well-prepared. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, which came with a side of Caesar salad and garlic bread—generous portions and absolutely delicious. The mussels are a standout; I can't recommend them highly enough! The sangria was great, and the pitcher offers fantastic value for the size and price.
We came to Juluca's father's day for an authentic Juluca dinner on the terrace. With Lockdown we had ordered the takeout a few times, but had not been able to eat. We were not disappointed! I think it was Donna who served us (that was what was on the entrance) and she was AMAZING! She gave recommendations and we were so satisfied with them, she was seriously on site. At the end of the evening she even brought Dessert to the house. It was so appreciated. We had the lasagna and the Italian job pizza. So amazing! We'll be regular. Thank you.
This is a fantastic little spot with delicious food and excellent service. If you enjoy dining outdoors, there's a lovely patio available. The lasagna is irresistible, and the pizza and salads are equally great. The desserts are also quite delightful, or you can simply pop in for an ice cream cone.
My husband and I stopped by last evening for dinner on the patio at this lovely restaurant. This is our fourth time eating at Juluca's and have to say that we have not had a bad meal yet. The food is very generous and tasty and the pizza is amazing. The service was very good (one server for the whole patio). My only comment is that the server was so busy, that it wouldn't hurt to hire one or more servers, as they will get busier once the word spreads around the neighborhood how good the food is!
