Nestled in Murrell's Inlet, this restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences. On one hand, it boasts stunning views and fresh seafood, with dishes like grilled shrimp and scallops often receiving praise. Friendly service and quick seating for large groups highlight its accommodating nature. However, challenges such as limited menu options, supply chain issues affecting dish availability, and occasional rude service dampen the experience. While some patrons rave about the seafood quality, others express disappointment in underwhelming flavors and portion sizes. For those seeking a relaxed meal with family, it may serve as a decent choice, but expectations should be tempered.

They try very hard in the midst of personal shortage and supply chain problems and overall a good work here. we expected a 90-minute waiting time, but were sitting within 15 minutes. nothing special on the building, only a large room with banquet size tables. looks perfect for large group families. we were 14, 8 adult 4 youthful and two youthful. our choices for dinner were limited as the menu. Two of us ordered baked carrots that they ran out. how can they run out of baked potato? supply chain? the total experience meets the just ok meter at about 5. however, the employees are very good and seem to be overworked. generally a good place for a limited menu experience.

As good as ever. but with a fantastic new, updated atmosphere! long away are the carpets from my childhood and most of the rural kitchen chairs. the tables are new, but still have this familiar oyster hole to throw their dishes into the bins. the new bar is beautiful and there are many tvs to watch sport or tatorten in this opposite. the server no longer wear jeans and tee warming, but are now a little more spiffy! Make sure to get a window table and enjoy the sunset over the stream, and go back and on the marsh walkway. to throw a garnel to a cat.
We go here for the steamers when in town. Nice views of the water adds to the ambiance.
PollyAnn, Manager, was downright rude to our table of locals. We asked our waitress to speak with the manager about turning down the overhead music as we could not hear each other’s conversations at our own table. Someone behind the bar adjusted music slightly but it didn't make a real difference. So the nice waitress moved our family to another table away from sitting directly under the speakers. The music remained too loud to enjoy our dinner so my father asked to speak with the manager. She came to the table and we explained the music was loud to have a conversation with each other that we came for dinner not for a bar atmosphere and she replied, “the music was hiding the profanity coming from the bar” and did we want her to turn it off? We asked her yes and all thought to ourselves there’s only six tables being served tonight and four people sitting at the bar, if she, the management, can not control this small group of people from speaking unwanted language at a restaurant bar then goodness help her during the summertime when it's crowded. She turned off the music for 30 minutes and then turned it back on even louder than before as we were trying to finish our meal. As we left the restaurant, we were the last table left at 8:00 pm she blared the song, Na Na Say Goodbye. So unprofessional. We've been eating at Nance’s Creek Front Restaurant for over 35 years but tonight you’ve lost loyal local customers. Three generations of our family members have dined with you when they come to town annually, but not anymore. It doesn't take much to offer customers kindness in this world and as a restaurant owner/manager I hope you reflect on your actions tonight.
