I ordered the fish dinner, and it was outstanding. We also got onion rings as an appetizer, which were hand-battered and absolutely delicious. My husband had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra, and he loved it. He mentioned multiple times how amazing the gravy was. The service was exceptional! Next, the chicken-fried chicken and the steak with onions were quite disappointing. My son and I could only manage a couple of bites of each, and we found them to be really unappetizing. On a positive note, the onion rings were good.
Overall, I urge you to improve the quality of your food. You seem to have a great concept, but I have to say that the dinner for four, totaling $61, was not worth it. View all feedback.
Lovely little spot on the main square to grab dinner. Some great Cajun offerings in addition to the usual Southern fare in the area. My only issue was with the pinto beans that clearly came from a can while nearly everything else seemed made in-house. However, the wonderful service from all of their staff made me not care as much.
Chicken fried steak was sooo tender and good. Not too much breading. I have lives in. Texas and have tried a lot of chicken friend steak and loves theirs. My husband had the catfish and loved it. The wait staff were super friendly. Great place to eat!
This was our last night of a week long vacation and the food and service were bar none! One of the best restaurants we have been to in a while. Laurie, the owner, and our waitress, Alyssa, were exceptional with making us feel like part of the family. We had a wonderful time! Thanks!
