My father found this restaurant online before traveling to Indiana, so we had to drive 30 minutes to this place for dinner. The food was incredible! The owner prepares these unbelievably delicious dishes, that includes stuffed grape leaves, hummus, and beef. We ordered a mixed platter for two and loved everything! View all feedback.

As a heads up, the menu doesn’t clearly label what is vegan/vegetarian and what isn’t. Some items say “can be made vegan” but not all vegan items are listed like that. Server was nice, and the food tasted authentic and fresh. The biggest issue we had was the wait time. We went on a Friday 6pm and there was only one other group dining in. We placed our order and the first appetizer didn’t come out until 40 mins into our time there. This wasn’t some kind of huge, complex appetizer either — it was literally 6 falafel balls. By the time our entrees arrived, we had been there over an hour. There was no apology or explanation for the delay. The food we ordered was very basic, so should not have taken even half that time to put together. Overall, I would return here but only for takeout and if I have plenty of time.
Save time and order ahead but it's worth the wait. Eggplant and falafel wrap, spicy, is very delicious and always fresh.

The flavors were exquisite! We waited 45 min. for food, but I'd do it again! Excellent! I had the vegan sampler and he was able to sub cucumbers for pita bread to make it gluten free for me.
An absolute gem of NW Indiana! A must try if you care about great food and a chef who cooks from the heart. Go Go Go Now!!
