If you decide to visit this restaurant, be prepared to either bring home leftovers or have a hearty appetite! We ordered onion rings and received enough to feed a family of four. The staff were also friendly and very attentive. For dinner, my wife chose an open beef plate, while I went for one of my favorite dishes: roasted chicken livers with fries. Both meals were served on large plates rather than traditional dinner plates. The beef was smothered in two slices of Texas toast, topped with generous portions of roast beef, mashed potatoes, and rich brown gravy. My wife described the meat as delicious, comparing it to Salisbury steak, but with a softer texture. Meanwhile, my chicken livers were piled high on the plate, accompanied by a generous serving of fries. The ratio of liver to fries was about 70-30, a substantial amount. The livers were crispy and not overcooked. Naturally, we ended up with a lot of leftovers. Typically, we bring home one box of food along with a few onion rings, but this time we left with three full boxes!
