Nestled in a small town, this restaurant is a delightful hidden gem boasting an impressive vegetarian menu with several options adaptable for vegan diets. With a nostalgic Americana vibe and a charming gift shop, it offers a variety of tasty dishes, including the popular Impossible Burger and sweet potato fries. However, the dining experience can be marred by inconsistent service, with some patrons reporting unfriendly staff and concerning interactions. The restaurant had a gorgeous decor and the food was outstanding. The servers were friendly and efficient, delivering our dishes promptly. The food arrived warm, but not too hot to enjoy immediately. It was just right. I opted for the Belgium Waffles, which were simply delicious. They were hands down the best waffles I've ever had. The accompanying syrup was also exceptional. In summary, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant and would definitely return if I were in the area. Five stars.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The prices and food were fantastic, and the customer service was exceptional. Our server, Lloyd, was friendly and welcoming. The dishes were homemade and generously portioned. The pie was outstanding. We tried the shrimp and liver, both of which were perfectly cooked, and the pasta dishes were also delicious. Overall, a great dining experience!
We were visiting from out of state and decided to stop by this restaurant for lunch on a whim, and we had a wonderful experience. Everything we ordered was truly delicious: chicken bacon ranch wrap, southwestern wrap, potato salad, sweet potato fries, and strawberry rhubarb pie. The only downside was that the chicken bacon ranch wrap could have used more ranch dressing. Our waiter, Loyd I believe was his name, was extremely friendly, attentive, gave great recommendations, and kept us entertained throughout our meal. They also have a charming gift shop where we bought a few items. I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return if I ever find myself in the area again.
I'm glad I visited during my trip; the pies are fantastic! The atmosphere is perfect for dinner, although you might need to wait in line for a bit.
