What Marge Rice dislikes about Hammerdown Grill:
We visited the restaurant yesterday with another couple. They ordered a pizza while we opted for chicken dinners at 6:30. Unfortunately, we didn't receive our food until an hour and a half later. The chicken is their Sunday special, so we had high expectations. Although the food tasted good, the service was extremely disappointing. View all feedback.
Always have had good food here. Enough seats for families to eat dinner unlike some bars that just have s couple.
During our two visits, the service was incredibly poor, almost comically so. After a long wait, we finally managed to place our order, only to see other tables receiving their meals while we waited. When we mentioned our frustrations to the staff, they offered us free drinks, which only left me feeling a bit lightheaded. All we really wanted was our food.
I enjoyed delicious pizza, crispy cheese curds, and of course, Spotted Cow beer.
