We arrived at the restaurant after walking from Craigellachie. Our walking instructions had indicated that the owners would pick us up at Ballindalloch Station, but when we called, we were informed that this service was no longer available. Despite having to walk an additional 1.5 miles in the pouring rain, we eventually found the hotel with the help of Google Maps. The hotel itself was pleasant and the showers were excellent. The set menu, priced at £30 per person, offered only one option for each course, which we would have preferred to have more choices. The rooms were comfortable and the staff were friendly. The drinks were a bit pricey. Breakfast was enjoyable and the breakfast server was kind and accommodating.
We stayed at the B&B for three nights while attending a family wedding. The staff was excellent. We ate at the restaurant twice. The chef, Angus, prepared a tasty and well-balanced set menu. The restaurant was truly welcoming to dogs, with all staff members being dog lovers and ensuring that your furry friend is treated just as well as you are. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive, going above and beyond in their duties. Well done! We look forward to returning.
After a stroll in the hills, we decided to make a dinner reservation at Delnashaugh, as options were limited in the area. The food was delicious and on par with other restaurants we had visited. The portions were generous and made with fresh ingredients. What really stood out at Delnashaugh were the friendly owners who not only offered to pick us up from our accommodation but also dropped us back after our meal. It was a true example of Highland hospitality. We would definitely dine here again.
Stay at delnashaugh hotel with other family members for a little fishing and general catch now that allow restrictions. we can not thank fiona, andrew and all the girls enough for their hospitality and make this break we will remember and are...before plan to repeat. the location is stunning and so quiet it is impossible not to completely relax! the food is excellent and local source, the atmosphere so cooled, none of us wanted to go! Many thanks to once again young, they see themselves again soon!
Stopped for a couple of drinks after some walking in the hills. Decided to book a table for dinner as places open off season are few and far-between. The food was fine and on a par with the other places we visited in the area....The food was fresh and there was plenty of it. But what really set The Delnashaugh apart was the friendly owners who not only offered to pick us up from our accommodation but also dropped us off again after our meal. There are lots of clichés about Highland hospitality but this is a real case in point. Would certainly go again.
